Daylight savings time has just started or ended. How do I change the date and time on my phone system?

If you have a Vodavi Triad or STARPLUSdigital phone system:

1. Go to the first assigned attendant station. This is usually station 100.
2. Without lifting the handset, dial the code 692
   • The LCD will update to "System Date and time".
3. Enter a 10 digit number representing the current date and time: YYMMDDhhmm where
   

   YY	=	Year	(01 through 99)
   MM	=	Month	(01 through 12)
   DD	=	Date	(01 through 31)
   hh	=	Hour	(00 through 23)
   mm	=	Minute	(00 through 59)

4. The phone will return a confirmation beep and the display will update to reflect the new date and time.
5. Press the on/off button.

If you have a Vodavi DHS phone system:

1. From any Executive Display Phone: Press the FEATURE button, then #, then 0.
   • The LCD will update to "CHK PSWD"
2. Enter the system attendant password (usually "0000").
3. Press SAVE
   • The LCD will update to "SELECT FUNCTION"
4. Press TIME
   • The LCD will update to "SYSTEM TIME"
5. Press SHOW
   • The LCD will update to "YEAR : yy"
   • If the year displayed is correct, press NEXT. Otherwise press CHG. This places the cursor at the first year digit position. Enter the current year and press SAVE.
     
   • The newly entered year is displayed. Press NEXT if more Date and Time information must be entered. Follow the same entry format as prompted by the display for the data fields MONTH, DAY, WEEKDAY, HOUR and MINUTE.
   • From the "SYSTEM TIME" prompt press BACK or NEXT to return to the main Attendant Administration menu.
   • Press the CLEAR button to exit.

If you have an SRX phone system:

1. From the attendant console: Press the SDN key.
2. Wait for dial tone.
3. Press FEAT +5571.
4. Listen for the confirmation tone.
5. Enter the time in the following format using the keypad keys: HHMMX where
   

   HH	=	Hour	(01 through 12)
   MM	=	Minute	(01 through 59)
   X	=	AM/PM	2 for A on the keypad or 7 for P on the keypad

   
   If you make a mistake while entering the numbers, press the CANCEL key, then return to step 3 and begin the process again.
6. Press # and wait for confirmation tone
7. Press the CANCEL key or the RELEASE key.

How do I change the name on the LCD of my Vodavi Triad or Starplus telephone?

The name displayed on your telephone is used for a number of things in the phone system. Most notably, when your telephone is idle (not doing anything) it shows whose phone it is and when you make a call to an other extension, their display shows who is calling them by name rather than by extension number.
To change the name displayed:

1. Without lifting the handset, dial the code 690. The LCD will update to "ENTER NAME"
2. Enter up to 7 digits for the name you want displayed using the chart below.
3. Press the SPEED button to save your name.

I can hear the phone ringing at the next desk and I want to answer it. Do I have to get up and walk across the room to get it?

No, there is an easier way called Directed Call Pickup:

1. Pick up your phone
2. Dial the extension you want to answer
   • You will hear a beep or a ringback
3. Press the PICKUP button on your phone
